Dear Clients,

Without question, we are experiencing uncertain times that bring new concerns, tough decisions, and unique challenges with each passing day. There is no script on how to proceed during these times and with each passing day and new development, we are forced to adapt and make tougher decisions. We at The Pollard Firm are grateful for our relationship with you and look forward to continuing to serve you. Against the backdrop of difficult circumstances, our strength lies in our values of family, love, community, and gratitude. As a firm, our hearts go out to all those impacted by this situation, and we're sympathetic to the many challenges our clients are now facing.

First and foremost, our plan ensures the health and safety of our employees, so we can continue to work on your legal matters and see them through to resolution in your favor. Considering the most recent news from the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we have made the decision to have employees forgo coming to the office and instead to work remotely from home until further notice. These precautionary measures have been taken to limit the potential spread of the virus, to support our employees in this challenging time and to ensure we maintain our ability to serve you, our clients, for the long term.

Tentatively all courts are closed or are in the process of closing with the exception of limited availability for certain emergency matters. While each county has provided a tentative date for re-opening their courts, we are waiting anxiously for their word so that we can get back into the courtroom and proceed with your cases. You can visit the court website for the county that your case is filed in or contact us directly for updates if your case involves a matter that is not before the courts. We will do our best to respond to you as expeditiously as possible and we ask for your understanding regarding any delays. We encourage you to take time to care for yourself and your family, and while we hope that looking back, our country's reaction to the COVID-19 virus was on the side of caution, we cannot underestimate the potential for catastrophic results should we take it lightly. We ask you to remain optimistic and to show kindness and patience within your community.
